Euclid Improvements Project Update – June 2022

Dear Tenants, Neighbors, and Community Members,

Your continued involvement in the Euclid Improvements in East Palo Alto is important to us. With no displacement, we’ve proposed replacing several aging, outdated buildings with new mixed-income housing with 605 apartments, replacing the existing 160 rent-stabilized apartments one-for-one, providing for 89 below-market-rate affordable units elsewhere in EPA, and creating a new park space for public use, neighborhood-serving retail, and community space on-site.

After 4 years of community meetings, public hearings, and discussions with the City of EPA, we expect public hearings for project approval in the next few months, and this will be the last chance to provide input outside formal hearings coming soon. We recently hosted additional public meetings online and in-person for the community to learn more, ask questions, and provide input. If you have questions, please contact Teresa Morales, Community Engagement Manager, at 650-690-6199.

Project update – May 21, 2021

We have created an online video that reviews the development proposal (including adjustments since we last met) and provides an update on where we were. We’ll also be hosting additional opportunities for community input in the future.
